Hydrogen fuel cell forklifts still deserve attention, but we must learn from the organizational expe

This article is not saying that hydrogen energy is no good, nor is it saying that hydrogen fuel cell forklifts have no future. On the contrary, I have always believed that hydrogen fuel cell forklifts have clear value in specific scenarios, especially in large logistics and warehousing scenarios with high requirements for heavy loads, multiple shifts, low temperatures, continuous operation, and rapid refueling. In these scenarios, hydrogen energy still has its unique advantages.
Moreover, the global deployment of hydrogen fuel cell forklifts has already surpassed the 40,000- unit mark, with the core market primarily in the United States, and continuing to expand among blue-chip customers in Europe. Large retail, logistics, and manufacturing companies in the United States have long used hydrogen fuel cell forklifts as a mature material handling solution; in recent years, Europe has also been gradually increasing project deployments among customers in the cold chain, food logistics, and manufacturing sectors.
This shows that hydrogen fuel cell forklifts are not a laboratory concept, but a product that has been used and verified by a number of mainstream international customers.
The issue is not whether hydrogen energy has value, but whether China's hydrogen energy industry can develop in a more orderly manner, like the forklift lithium battery industry did in the past: first find niche closed-loop scenarios, then talk about scale; first establish a technological closed loop, then talk about the ecosystem; first make customers feel it's worthwhile, then talk about capital stories; first make stable products, then amplify the industry dream.
